ANSWER: This is totally prohibited and called dating! You must not have any communication with nonmahram men.

QUESTION: How can a wife get her husband discplined who physically abuses her. She DOESN’T want divorce because she has kids but at the same time really wants her husband to be disciplined. Can she take him to qadi who will discipline him on her behalf?

ANSWER: If he beats you, you need to get your father and brother involved so that he knows you have men to protect you when needed. If he doesn’t stop, such an abusive husband must be deterred even if by threatening him to call the police.

QUESTION: A couple repented from fornication. Both parents agree to their marriage but the parents want to delay it until the boy is financially stable. The couple dont want haram acts anymore, can they do nikah (court) now with witnesses?

ANSWER: You refrain from sins because Allah prohibited them. You not doing it doesn’t guarantee that they didn’t do it or won’t do it in the future.

ANSWER: This depends on the person who gave that envelope. Sometimes it is written on it and other times it is given to the father of the bride to help him and sometimes it is given to the father of the groom to help him with the expenses of the wedding.

ANSWER: Advise her to sit at home so that he can man up and take care of his responsibilities. She is not obliged to provide for the household as that is his job. You can be the man of the house, work and earn and make your mom sit home and not work.
