QUESTION: My husband forbids me from shopping at a store only because the items are cheap. I want to buy halal things like clothes, blankets, and home needs. Is it allowed for him to stop me for this, and is he sinful for preventing me from something halal? Even though it’s his money, it’s only because it’s cheap, not for any Islamic or safety reason.

ANSWER: This is his right which you must obey! As long as the money is his, go to a more expensive places and buy whatever you want.

ANSWER: He should make dua for his cure and perform Ruqyah for his illness along with fasting to curb his desire so that he does not fall into sin until Allah makes a way out for him

ANSWER: If the groom gave the proposal, this is not permissible and the marriage is not valid.
