Whose Eng tranlation of THe Holy Qur’an is the nearest to Arabic i.e the best? Is Yusuf Ali’s interpretation fine?

The most near to text is translation by Dr.Muhammad Mohsin Khan printed at King Fahad press Madina al Munawera and Saheeh international.

Is it permissible for a large group of people who are view as pious within the community, to read quran upon a person in unison, with the individual the quran being recited upon is in the middle of them.

Do you mean that they repeat after him together? If this is to correct their recitation, this is permissible. Otherwise, it is not.

Can you advice me if reading Quraan from the Mushaf is more rewarding than reading Quran on smartphone App?

even when i’m reciting the Qur’an alone at room, a whisper comes to my mind that persons are listening to my recitation so i have to recite it well or correct my pronunciation or recite it fluently so that they will know that i know how to recite Qur’an fluently. All these thoughts just come to my mind, but in reality i’m alone nobody in the room that could see me. So what the stand of my recitation? Will this fall under Riyah (showing up) or what?

These thoughts are all from Shaytaan, and you should try your best to ignore & forget them. Recite the Qur’aan for the sake of Allah.

In surah sajdah verse 5 it is stated that it takes 1 day equivalent to 1000 yrs for the affairs of this world to reach Allah swt…. Then are our deeds presented after 1000 years

The ayah is referring that the distance that would usually take us 1000 years to travel, things come down and go down in a short period of time.

I am reading English translation of the Quran, but after I am done reading a few ayahs each day, I find that I forget what I read. Is this because I am so sinful and a bad person? Is there anything I can do to improve retention of what I read from the Quran?

The Surah were some named by the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and others were named by the companions.

When I read the quran in salah or any other time if I repeat the same surah do I have to say “bismillahir rahmanir rahim” whenIi start the surah again? can I read lying down?

It is recommended to begin the Surah with basmalah and you can recite the Quran lying down.

I used to improve my Tajweed with the Qiraat of some renowned Qari but I have been recently advised not to recite along with the Qiraat. Only once the Ayat finishes than I should follow and not along with it. How far is it right? I could not find the authentic answer for this Query. PLEASE help me guide this as I have been even telling my children to listen the recitation in their phones and practice.
