Wanted to ask if it is permissable to work for a company who build software for the pension and wealth management market as a computer programmer? It is ok to purchase from him goods as long as what you buy is halaal.

A brother works in an American grocery store that sells alcohol and pork. He does not sell or stack the products but he puts them in a bag for the customer when they buy from the store. Is this brother under the curse of Allah?
