What is the virtue of the 17 rakat isha prayer performed in india and pakistan which is 4 sunnah then 4 farz then 2 sunnah then 2 nafil then 3 witr n then again 2 nafil.(i know that its ish is 4 farz n 2 sunna then 3/1/any odd number witr)but then from where these 17 rakat has came?plz clearify.

ANSWER: Isha Fard is only 4 rakahs.

When we go to mosque for fajr, the farz namaz already started so join into that. Can we pray sunnah of fajr after the farz in this case?

If i missed one rakah of jummah prayer then i should pray only one after imam ends the salah and if i miss both the rakah and join jamaat in sujood then should i pray four rakah like zohr ? What is the correct way please guide me

My question is that can we say ALLAHUMA SALLI ALLA MOHAMMAD WA’ALA ALI MOHAMMAD in sujood after saying dua of sujood and then can I make dua in my own language during sujood?

ANSWER: Eid Salah is not offered at home. It must be offered in congregation behind the Imam.

When I entered at Dhuhr time in mosque, time left only for 4 rakat sunnah salah before fardh in jamat. Should I pray 2 rakat Tahitatul masjid or 4 rakat sunnah salat? Is it must to pray 2 rakat salah before sitting in mosque?

When imam recites the verse of prostation and then says Allahu Akbar for going down do we need to raise hands before going down as we do while going to ruku’. Also after raising back do we have to sit first and then stand as we do while raising from second sujood???

ANSWER: In sujud the sunnah is to make duaa, you can use the names of Allah to make a Duaa, eg, to say”ya shafi ishfini”, but to recite the Names without making duaa, this is not permissible. There is no problem to make a duaa from a Qur’anic verse. https://youtu.be/hYToZVeAl20
