Some scholar like in mazhab hanafi said that tuma’ninah is not wajib or is not rukun. So can people from other mazhab pray behind imam that does not do tuma’ninah?

ANSWER: The prayer of such an imam is invalid if he doesn’t sit properly! Either you are too slow or he is too fast! If it is the later, pray somewhere else as his prayer is not valid due to the lack of tranquility and calmness in this pillar between sujoods.

Can a sinful person lead people in prayer when others don’t want to lead? That person is involved in a serious sin of masturbation. Otherwise, he has a long beard and doesn’t lie and pray salat on time. Doesn’t cheat or consume Riba, also very dutiful to his parents and people around. Can he still lead prayer or he should avoid it? As others consider him very pious person.

ANSWER: It is permissible for him to lead The prayers. Sins don’t prevent people from leading prayers especially when it is hidden and between them and Allah. He should however repent to Allah from such a sin.

I know that we are not supposed to be praying the sunnah for before fajr while the fard has begun in the masjid. Does the same ruling apply for when we’re praying at home? If I am praying sunnah and my family starts fard, should I stop?

ANSWER: This applies only for the congregational prayer in the masjid.

What should a person do if he joins the prayer when the imaam has alredy finished one rakat and at the end the person forgets that he had missed one rakat and finishes the salah with the imaam, does he have to repeat the whole salah or not?

ANSWER: If you remembered soon after salam, stand up and offer the missed rakah and offer 2 prostrations after salam for forgetfulness. But if you remembered this long after the pray was over, your prayer is invalid and you must offer it again.

In my country fajr start around 3.34 AM & dhuhr 11.56AM (I took this time from internet) . But the adhan for fajr is given on around 4 AM & dhuhr at 1.20PM. To pray salah should I wait for the adhan to be called or I can perform salah as the prescribed time begin?

ANSWER: Follow the Umm al Qura prayer timetable and pray accordingly, no matter when the athan is called.

In zohar prayer imam made a sajda sahu apparently without any reason .later i asked him the reason he told me that in first tashahud he read whole durood or part of it and then realised and immedeately stand for third rakah . Does that require a sajda sahu , i think no.

ANSWER: There’s no sujood as sahu for this as some scholars say that even if you send salutations on Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam deliberately in the first tashahhud then also it’s OK.

When we pray 4 rakat fardh, on the 3rd rakat I made a mistake I started praying a surah on the 3rd rakat after fatiha – I realised nearly towards the end but didn’t know whether I was meant to stop reciting and continue and say Allaahu Akbar and go into rukhoo or finish off the surah. So I finished off the surah and then continued. In this instance what are we meant to do?

ANSWER: There’s no problem in reciting another surah after fateha in 3rd and 4th rakahs.

If one Sneezes during salah should they stop reciting or paying the part we’re on and say alhamdulilah or continue praying?

ANSWER: They should say Alhamdulillah silently and then continue reciting what they were reciting.

The hadith says along with the fardh,praying 12 rakahs nafal in a day gives the reward of a house in jannah. So is it like everyday you pray that 12rakat and get a house everyday? Or we have to be just constant to get that one house in jannah?

ANSWER: You need to be consistent in praying these 12 rakah every day.

I pray 2+2 rakaah Sunnah before Dhuhr or Asr. My question is should i pray 4 rakaah sunnah also in Masjid before we start praying Jumuat Prayer?

ANSWER: There are no Sunnah prayers before Friday prayer except the two rakahs of Tahiyatul Masjid that you must pray before sitting down and the general voluntary nafl that is not restricted to a particular number until the Imam comes out.
