Someone’s father says God blessed him by giving him money and other things. While he earns from clear haram, such as intoxixants, gambling, lying. This does not seem like rizq Allah gave him as blessings but as tests. What should the son say in this case to his father who has clearly misunderstood this?

ANSWER: He should explain to his father that this is haram Rizq and Allah gives this to Muslims and disbelievers alike! However, this doesn’t mean it is halal or that Allah is pleased with it! It is like someone fornicating with a girl and says that this is Rizq from Allah!

ANSWER: It is totally prohibited to shake hands or touch a non mahram. Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said its better to be pierced with an iron needle in your head than touch a non mahram female.

If we accidently eat with our left hand should we spit out that food?

Sheikh I know about the prohibition of men wearing any kind of jewellery or anything that beautifies them that contains gold, any form of gold. Yellow or white. Sheikh I wish to buy a belt which has a buckle made of brass and plated with palladium which is not elementally gold. Kindly do advise sheikh.

ANSWER: No problem, only what has real gold in it is prohibited.

As we all know many Sufi go to graveyards cemeteries or tombs to ask the dead to help them, ask them to protect or supplicate to do something for them though it’s totally prohibited to pray in these places and seek help from dead. Can these people be considered to be unbelievers?

ANSWER: You must at least move your tongue and lips while making dua, dhikr, reciting Qur’an or while praying.

Is it permissible for me to supplicate for my death. Reason for this supplication is, I’m unable to live life as it should be lived(according to Koran and Sunnah). Every time i commit myself to live life with TAQWA i fail.I think the more i live, I’ll commit more sin.Is it permissible to seek death.

ANSWER: It is not permissible to imitate the disbelievers. You can wear what the locals wear providing you do not compromise in your religion. In other words, it is not permissible to shave your beard or do things specific to disbelievers in order to fit in. Move to a Muslim country so that you can practice Islam freely.
