ANSWER:

It is totally prohibited to shake hands or touch a non mahram. Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said its better to be pierced with an iron needle in your head than touch a non mahram female.  

I just got a job working for my government and it includes traveling abroad and free mixing, am i allowed to shake women hand as thats how we greet in the western world. i have seen arab country leaders shake womens
