My brother has given me some clothes of his that he doesn’t need anymore but I know the money he bought them with was earned by haraam income. Is it permissible to wear these clothes whilst praying salah?

ANSWER: No problem in this unless it was stolen! The haram money is only haram for the person earning it and not for anyone else.

There are some products that are expensive, but good for use. I can buy a cheaper version of it, but I buy the more expensive one. Will I be questioned in afterlife about how I have spent my money? Is this ok?

ANSWER: No problem in this as long as it is halal and if you can afford it.

In Australia 90% of the meat slaughting is by the machine not by hand is it halal to eat or we have to eat hand slaughter only. Its very difficult to buy hand slaughter meat in foreign countries. Australian Muslim council said is halal. Some people say machine slaughting is halal and some say not. What is according to Quran please guide me?

Sheikh,we have online islamic lectures, quran recitations etc wherein there are male speakers/qaris whom the audience can see. So isnt it haram for a muslim woman to be looking at them.afraid of haram gaze, i often look away and i hear just the audio.

My question is regarding a friend who has confusion on naming children,she wishes to name her child with the name of both the parents,as in she wants to include her own name along with the name of the child and husband is this permissible?

ANSWER: This is absolutely not permissible. The child must only be given his father’s name as the second name. The child is only allowed to have the name of the mother if he’s illegitimate!

I know that displaying pictures with faces is haram. I want to inquire if it would be OK if I put on my wall or office picture of my, my husband’s and my sons hands making dua or picture of our backs or our shadows as we look at the horizon. There are some moments I want to look at over and over. Please explain the limits regarding this. None of the pictures will have faces shown.

ANSWER: It is not permissible for a woman to be filmed or photographed unless for necessity. The hands are an awrah of a woman so it’s not permissible to expose them.

After seeing all the authentic hadith on rulling on pictures, is there exception for the sheikhs who post pictures? Taking pictures with phone or posting on social medias. & who are the picture makers?

If someone do intimacy with his wife when wife is free from periods but she didn’t have her ghussal yet.Only the blood flow is stopped and she had no periods any more but she does not has ghussal so is it permissible to do or one should do after the wife is done with ghussal?if someone does this then is there any expiation or he only repent sincerely to not do next time.

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You cannot have intimacy before she has taken the ghusl, this is not permissible and requires expiation. You have to give expiation of what equals 4.25 grams of gold or half of it.
