My question is that at night I try to sleep on my right but I feel really uncomfortable and I end up sleeping on my left or half way on my stomach. Is it haram what I’m doing and what can I do?

ANSWER: No problem whatsoever in changing sides while sleeping. The Sunnah is to begin your sleep by lying on your right side.

Sheikh, is it ok for a female teacher to add her adult male students or follow them on social network and like their photos posts and for her students to do the same to her posts or photos, and is it okay if the teacher and her namahram students sometimes chat with each other just to ask about whereabouts and if everything is fine, out of care and love?

ANSWER: It is not permissible for her to teach them, let alone engage with them on social media. She must only teach girls.

I learned that if a woman goes to a ptaxi while she’s alone with the male driver, it’s haram because the third is the shaytan. But can she go to a taxi with her non-mahram male cousin to go to the mosque to talk to a sheikh, is it halal? so there would be three people in the taxi: the woman, her non-mahram male cousin, and the taxi driver. So it would be two males and one woman in the car.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as her cousin is a non mahram.

In our country (Algeria) a lot of persons suffers from bad family names given by the ****** occupation in the previous century and personally I’m intimidated with my family name,the question is can I use the name of my husband in my job (I’m a doctor) knowing that my family can’t change her name because they are not all agree.

ANSWER: It is absolutely prohibited to change from your familiy or father’s name to your husband’s name, you should be called after your father’s name and you can drop your family name if you don’t like it.

In our 2nd year college syllabus in Biology, we studied a chapter on theory of evolution. Although it is wrong,but we are forced to study it as it is a part of our syllabus. Advice on this matter sheikh

If I ate fish, then i can’t drink milk directly after eating (the fish) it. But after how much of time i can drink the milk ?. is it one hour, two hours or three hours ?, or its after a full day ?, secondly, if i drank milk first, then i can eat fish directly, right ?

In my home I try my best for never get image or toys whit” naf”. When I don’t have choice habitually I try find a way to remove eyes or draw on eyes the ways you can’t see the had before. But some people told me have one exceptn for the doll of my small daughter. It is permissible for let the eyes on it inchallah?

I work in London as a self employed, if I avoid paying taxes because the government spend on army and other things. I know lie and cheating is not permissible in Islam, I just want to know if my earning is halal if I avoid paying taxes to the government.
