Sheikh my parents are living separately but not divorced, i have two elder brothers, my mother and brothers want that i talk to my father very less, cut off ties with his brothers and sisters as they were unjust to my mother for many years and my father was disrespectful towards my mother since always but now separate. Is it ok to break ties like this?

ANSWER: This is absolutely not permissible and you must not listen to them at all.

My husband is very much arrogant,shouts on me, beat up in silly issues, calls my guardians and always threatens to send away, to give divorce.He sent me out several times, even when i was pregnant. My guardians mitigated and sent be back few times.6 months ago he beated me kicked me out with my then-2 months old kid. Now he wants me to go back,my parents feel insecured to let me go. What to do?

ANSWER: You should have obtained medical reports to prove his abuse and physical violence against you as this would prevent him from repeating it again for the fear of being jailed for such domestic violence.

Sheikh since 1 week my mum is bedridden,she eats,bath everything on bed,my sister& me r loking at her,it v dificult for me to look after her,i mean sometime i feel fed up,and angry with myself as she wear pampers and have to clean her jst like a baby,i need time to accept this situation,my sister keeps on telling me that i will b punished by Allah.am afraid..as am only 30 yrs old.a

ANSWER: You must not jeopardize your Islam for anyone. It is not permissible for women to work or study in mixed environments. Simply refuse in working in a mixed environment and ask them to get you married if you are a burden on them.

ANSWER: You must stay out of their business and let your mother handle it. You as his child must be tolerant, obedient and dutiful to both of your parents while anticipating your reward from Allah alone. You can remind him about Allah and advise him when he is in a good mood.

Me and my father built a house over the period of few years. My father’s contribution is maximum. However, now my wife is also planning to help us monetarily from her own money to pay off the debts we accumulated for building the house. So there is no clear bifurcation of who invested how much.
