QUESTION: How can I love myself? As a Muslim scholar what would you recommend to a girl who hates herself cause she doesn’t know her native languages. I can’t even read the Quran cause I’m so embarrassed I don’t know Arabic! Please help.

QUESTION: Am a university student, sometimes I do ask for money from my relatives though I already have some. I do so because at some point my aim is to invest the same money in order to be independent and should not be like a burden to them any more. Is this permissible Sheik?.

ANSWER: This is begging and it is prohibited in Islam. A muslim is a person of dignity and honor and would never humiliate himself like this!

QUESTION: I’m accustomed to using “oh heck” and “damn” when talking with my friends or texting them. Is this imitating the kufr? And am i sinful?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as a believer is not a person who curses or uses obscene words or profanity and a person who curses would be deprived from interceding on the day of judgment as the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam has said.

Allah blessed me with 4 children, 3 sons and 1 daughter but they all died at different ages. 10 months, 15 months, 1.5 year and my daughter died 6 months ago at age of 2.5 years. it has broken us but we are still asking for Sabr from Allah. Sheikh everyone says that your kids will take you to Jannah.i want to ask that will I meet my children soon after my death?

ANSWER: No. No problem in spending on people even if they are rich. This is part of a person being generous. It’s sunnah to exchange gifts.

Sheikh can a woman talk with a male shopkeeper, male college administrator,male security man on the phone or message them in WhatsApp for necessity ( to know about price of items ,directions to a place, to order things online etc.)

ANSWER: No problem in this as long as you talk only about what’s necessary and not soften your voice.

I gave away a dress to my sisters to use as I had gained weight and could not fit in it anymore. They didn’t use it for so many years. Now, I have again lost weight, so they say that I should take the dress back and wear it. Am I allowed to take it back?
