ANSWER: It is not permissible to take books with you to the toilet as one shouldn’t be reading there or enjoying his time and one should just do his thing and leave. This is where devils reside.

QUESTION: My question is about the ruling on saying lanat to a (things) like if i try to hang a towel somewhere but it fall and i say lanat ullah alaik What is the ruling on it.

ANSWER: It is prohibited to curse and those who curse will not be among those who intercede on the day of judgment.

QUESTION: Is it ok if we dont say inshaAllah to non muslims for future events. Like sometimes int eh whatsapp group we have to tell that we will not be coming tomorrow. I fear saying InshaAllah because they will probably think why am I including religion over everywhere. Even for my prefect application, I dont think I said clearly, “I will” to anything.

ANSWER: One should be proud of his religion and say it for the sake of Allah and not for them. There is no sin in not saying it though.

QUESTION: Sheikh, ive seen some hadith where prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said not to praise anyone infront of them. So on which situation we should do it? Like if my spouse cooks for me or my mom i should praise their cooking and we should praise kids for the good they do.

ANSWER: No problem in praising your wife’s cooking or praising your children for the good they do. The praising that is not permissible is the one related to religion and piety.

QUESTION: Sheikh. i used to have friends before and i left them permanently because they used to hurt me. so now am i sinful to not talking to them from so long ? because i have heard that it is not permissible to a Muslim to stop talking to another Muslim more than three days ?

ANSWER: No problem in not talking to them. The problem is if you were to see them or meet them and you turn your face as if you had not see them and not give them salam or return their salam.

QUESTION: Is it allowed to call my friends or siblings ” stupid ” , ” foolish “, “mad” just for fun? I don’t refer others using these words. I only use it for my close friends & my sibling. We don’t get hurt & its just for fun. Is it ok?

Occupy yourself with constructive things and halal hobbies during free time, besides learning about your religion and trying to be a better Muslimah.
