Sheik I need help. There is this one girl at school that I have fallen for romantically. I want to get past her but I can’t. I’m constantly thinking about her and it’s driving me mad. I don’t want to pursue her or commit any evil. But my desire for her is very, very strong sheik. Give me advice and help on how to move on from her and to forget this mess.

Brother I lied to get money so that I can pay for my university fees. Seeing that I lied the money must be haram and since the money is haram will my degree be haram and if it is haram will the job I get because of the degree be haram meaning my earning is haram. The degree and job will not be harram, but you are sinful for telling lies. Repent to Allah and ask Him for forgiveness and try to pay back the money to those you took it from. If this is not possible, give it to charity.

if my husband doesn’t let the government(non-muslim) know about owning a house abroad now & he’s claiming benefits in this country & i also signed on the application form saying will let the goverment know of any changes but out of fear he will divorce me(i also have a child)if i do so i don’t declare this information,although i signed that i will.is there sin on me? i don’t know what to do?

I know someone that asked me this question, but I don’t know the answer to this question. ‘How can someone who tries really hard, get refuge from the sin of masturbation?’ If they try really really hard to get out of it, but always fall into the trap, are they being accountable for that sin? If this will affect the other person or harm him, you must tell the truth and correct this lie! As in the case of he denies stealing something from him while you are certain and have proof that he did steal it.

If a person says to someone you don’t know ‘f’ about Islam? or you don’t give a ‘f’ about Islam? is that kufr Akbar? In normal terms he would be saying you don’t know anything about Islam or you don’t care about Islam; the ‘f’ is a swear word but only the letter is said as the person restrains themselves from swearing!

There is no specific duah but you must lower your gaze and if you are not able to get married fast, Avoid all means that entice your sexual drive such as Internet, tv or video clips.
