QUESTION: I have cold allergy. When I wipe over my head, especially when the water reaches the skull in cold season or the water is cold, I catch cold. What should I do? Should I use less water? Or else?

ANSWER: The sunnah in Wudhu is to wipe your head, not wash it! Therefore you wet your hands and wipe over your head. The water can’t and must not reach your scalp!

QUESTION: For individuals who experience continuous gas problems, do they need to perform wudu for every prayer, including Fajr after having already performed wudu for Tahajjud, and also for taraweeh prayer while already did wudu for isha? Please reply I am confused.

ANSWER: 1. Yes, they must renew their wudu for fajr if they broke their wudu 2. No need to renew the wudu for taraweeh

QUESTION: Whoever who makes perfect wudu and then says the dua will go to Jannah, is it sufficient if I wash everything once or do I have to wash everything in wudu 3 times?

ANSWER: Perfect wudhu means that you have to wash it 3 times.

QUESTION: As a woman my hair is not as short as a man’s, so during wudu am I supposed to add a lot of water to make sure the entire scalp is wet or is wiping the top sufficient?

ANSWER: No one washes their hair in wudhu! We simply wipe over the head and not wash it or make the water reach the scalp! This is an innovation.

QUESTION: The hadith that talks about making Wudu’ before bed, what if I do my wudu for isha salat and hold the Wudu’ for the rest of the time till I go to sleep like 3-4 hours is it okay and comes under the hadith or do I need to do Wudu’ right before going to bed?

ANSWER: As long as you didn’t break your wudu, this is sufficient, you don’t need to renew it

QUESTION: If someone is doing tawaf on wheelchair and is so sleepy during tawaf he suddenly, dozed off for few seconds and felt as if he had passed a wind, but he wasn’t sure he thought he had a dream for a second in which he passed wind when he dozed off briefly. He is still not sure either he passed it or not. Does his tawaf during Umrah valid?

QUESTION: At wrestling training I have to pray with some brothers. So I go take wudu. Can I wipe over my wrestling shoes because it takes a bit long (5min) to put them off. Or should I wipe over socks

ANSWER: No problem in wiping over your shoes as long as you wore them in the state of wudu and they cover your whole foot including the ankles.

QUESTION: I had the intention of ghusl and I performed ghusl and it was time for prayer can I directly pray as I am purified and cleaned or should I have to perform wudu to pray?

ANSWER: If you had made ghusl to lift up a major sexual impurity or ghusl after menses then no need to make another wudu to pray.
