QUESTION: They have said that our hair must not be wet before we wipe our hands over our head in wudhu, is this true? They also said our feet must be dry before we wash them in wudhu, is this true? What if water goes on our feet and hair must we dry it then continue wudhu? Or does it not matter whether our body, hair or feet are wet and we can just continue and make our wudhu?

ANSWER: This is not true. You can make wudu over your limbs irrespective of whether it is wet or dry.

QUESTION: Can I wipe over my shoes if I wore them while I was in a state of wudhu, or is wiping only allowed on socks?

ANSWER: If you wore your shoes in the state of wudhu and your shoes cover your entire foot and the ankles as well, this is permissible to wipe over them.

QUESTION: Is our wazu invalid if we dont start with Bismillah?

ANSWER: If you can, this is a must. But if removing it or washing the wound would cause the healing to be late or it would endanger you, you can wipe over it and this would suffice.

ANSWER: We wash our private parts only after answering the call of nature! Washing it before making wudhu is the doing of the shia and it is an innovation.

QUESTION: I saw your video of dirt under nails not effecting wudhu. Is my understanding that no matter how much dirt there is even if it touches the skin under the nail wudhu is valid ad long as it is considered under the nail?

ANSWER: True!! It’s really unhygienic though & it’s mandatory to clip your nails within 40 days and even before that if your nails starts to grow!

QUESTION: If I have oil, cream or waterproof cream on my chin (above neck part) do I have to wash it soap for wudu

QUESTION: As you know that praying 2 rakat tah’yatul wudhu is recommended after ablution. What if we perform wudhu in the mosque? should we pray 2rakah tahiyatul wudhu and then 2 rakat tahiyatul masjid?I’m confused.

ANSWER: Praying tahiyatul wudu would suffice for tahiyatul masjid as well. This is like hitting two birds with one stone.
