Everyday I do some DUA buy reading some Surah I took 3-7mins for each dua. My query is if I shortened it for e.g. after reading da Surah if I finish it wil it be a SIN. Also everyday I do dikir if I stop doing dikir will it be a SIN.

ANSWER: Making Duaa after reading the Quran everyday is an innovation. Skipping thikr is not sinful but one losses a lot of reward and wouldn’t be protected.

I realized 5 min before the zuhr salah ended. I prayed 4 raka fard first, then 2 raka Sunnah. Then I prayed 4 raka zuhr sunnah 2×2 and prayed fard of Asr. Did I do it right? Please advise.

ANSWER: If you prayed at least one rakah of dhuhr before the time ended your prayer is valid.

We have days in the year which we can use if we are sick. Sometimes I have an appointment/event & I use it to call in sick. Is this ok?I’m salaried per 2 weeks so would the money be lawful even if I call for 1or2 day but the act itself haram bc I’m not really sick? Sometimes it’s the only way to get it off. Sometimes I go on a day I’m feeling sick to save that day for another time.Is that ok?

ANSWER: Iqamah is a highly recommended sunnah for Fard prayers only. It is not permissible to do it for voluntary prayers.

While praying behind an imam in silent peayers if one has npt completed the surah fatihah and imam goes in ruku. what one should do?

ANSWER: You must finish the fateha quickly and join the imam in ruku. Otherwise, this Rakah is invalid.

sometimes when Iam making dua alone ,whenever i hear someone about to enter the room I immediately put down my hands Iam shy to show them … and for example : Iam on my way to masjid and iam doing miswak and i see some people looking at me I put down the miswak because i feel like they will talk behind me will this be a major shirk ?

ANSWER: Scholars say: doing something to show off to people is riya’a. Leaving something for the fear of people talking is shirk! Repent to Allah, be careful from next time and don’t do this again.

ANSWER: Yes to both the questions.

Is there any authentic hadith that says “the sin committed against the right of a person is far greater than a sin committed against Allah swt?” it further said that sin committed against Allah might be forgive but the sin against one of his slaves will not be forgiven unless the person forgives himself. please tell me if there is anything closely related to this.

ANSWER: I don’t know of any such hadeeth! There are rights of others that Allah doesn’t forgive as the others must take from your good deeds on the day of judgement. But also there are rights of Allah that are greater and Allah will never forgive if a person dies while committing such as shirk.
