Sheikh the imam of our masjid has the aqeedah regarding taqdeer that ALLAH sends the person to hell and heaven and not his deeds,it was pre written that the person would go to hell or heaven so he would go to hell or heaven according to his written taqdeer and not by his deeds.He has differed from the belief of Ahlus sunnah wal jamaah regarding taqdeer. Is prayer valid behind such a person?

ANSWER: If he believes that people have no choice and that they are forced to behave and act like they do due to their destiny and that Satan and Gibreel are alike because they are fulfilling Allah’s destiny, such beliefs are blasphemous and must not pray behind such a person.

Is salah acceptable when prayed after eating onion n garlic? i have heard a hadith (interpretation of d meaning):muhammad pbuh said whoever eats onion and garlic,should not even pass by our masjids.

ANSWER: They must not go to the masjid to pray in congregation after eating onions and garlic, because the angels would be offended by its smell. They can pray at home, the validity of salah is not effected by this.

I am a Hanbali but most the Masajid around me are Hanafi who pray Jummah during Asr times according to us. Can I pray with them?

ANSWER: This is not permissible.

I have difficulty keeping up with the imams in Salah. The imams appear to recite at a normal pace, but I think I’m too slow. My problem is when I try to keep up by reciting faster, my focus in the prayer shifts away from the prayer itself. For this reason, I’ve been disliking the congregation prayer. Please advice me.

ANSWER: You must work on yourself and practice to recite faster in your voluntary prayers so that it would be easier for you in congregation. You must not think of quitting going to the masjid as these are whispers of Satan to make you abandon praying altogether.

I am from pakistan where weddings are more like hindu wedding. Though i am always fully covered so would it be a sin for me if i attend my own sister wedding where there will be mix gathering, music?

ANSWER: No, you must not attend such weddings or gatherings where haram is being practiced.

We live a few months in peace then my dad gets stuck in a problem(financial or a person reporting against my dad based on false accusations) due to which we cant travel/do anything. Our lives are not getting better. We pray regularly and give charity. I wanted to ask if this is a test since our problems are repetitive it feels as if we might be doing something wrong and are getting punished.

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible as it’s an innovation.

Greeting” means to congratulate on the birth of prophet Isa A.S. As Christmas means birth of Prophet Isa A.S (Reference: google) (Also my Christian friends agree to this fact). Muslims do congratulate their Muslim fellows on the birth of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Then why is it not permissible for a Muslim to say “Merry Christmas”? I can’t understand this hypocritical behaviour.

During salah I had to cover my hair while standing. I used one hand to cover hair and other hand was on my chest. But during covering my hair my other hand also moved but still my hand was on chest. Is my prayer valid?
