I heard a hadith that someone who looks after a poor person or widow is like a mujahid or someone who prays all night and fasts all day. If this is authentic does it apply to the man who marries a widow and takes care of her as his wife?

Sheikh, can we pray any nafl salah asking Allah to cure someone or if someone is going through a difficulty or any person missing,so can we pray asking Allah for the person?

ANSWER: It is an innovation to pray nafl specifically to ask cure for them. You can make dua in the sujood of any prayer asking Allah for your needs and what you want.

Do parents have to tell their children about why they don’t let them for example play a specific game or watch a specific cartoon?

If a boy proposes a girl because he is impressed by her deen,khuluq & beauty, but he himself doesnt have a decent character and a religious image in society. ANSWER: The mother’s approval is not mandatory for the nikah to be valid. What is mandatory is that the girl’s guardian gives his approval and consent. If the father is not alive then her brother, or paternal grandfather, then her paternal uncles must act as her wali, without which the marriage is invalid.

How is the best to do/to prioritizing giving charity? I meant we don’t know if they are Muslim or not and will use it to their need or for their own pleasure in maksiat or they are just acting in need and look miserable because in this age many people become liars

ANSWER: Yes, if the husband is clinically impotent then she has all the right to demand divorce and not khulu. She can complain to the muslim judge and he will order the man to go for physical tests to prove that.

I have developed a habit of offering only one rakat of witr in Isha. So I usually offer 4 rakat Fard, 2 rakat sunnah, and I rakat witr. What’s the ruling on that?
