If I earn should I give my earning to my parents? Is it an obligation to a daughter to spend for her parents though they have sufficient income? My mom always threaten ,that she only spent for our studies, so we should give our earnings to her,if not we’ll be sinful. Kindly clarify this issue sheikh. May the Almighty Allah reward you.

Is it permissible to trim the moustache with a razor? By trimming I mean removing some hairs of the moustache with a razor blade, not completely shave it including the hair roots.

ANSWER: Removing it completely with a razor is mutilation. If you mean trimming it with a machine which doesn’t completely remove it, this is permissible.

ANSWER: You must not live with your in-laws when your husband is not there, especially when non-mahrams are there. Go and stay at your parents house.

So I have UK nationality & have lived in the UK for several years.I was born there.& have children.My spouse and I paid taxes in UK and as his widow I am entitled to a benefit providing I live in UK.I’m in UAE for work, my parents live UK,it is still very much my home. ANSWER: If you don’t live there and the condition to claim this amount is to be living in the UK then claiming this is not permissible as this is cheating and Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam said a person who cheats is not from among us.

Ive a friend whose husband and inlaws go to the mizaars and do sajdah and other shirk. She listens to the scholars that say that its not allowed, but her husband has strictly told her not to listen to him. ANSWER: For women ear piercing is allowed but it is not recommended to have multiple piercing as this looks odd and it’s resembling the disbelievers. It is totally prohibited for men to have piercing of any kind.

Can you please tell us in the light of Al Quran and Sunnah that can a mother feed her child her milk who is getting older than 2 years and not willing to be bottle fed. For example if the child is given bottle milk he does not drink it all no matter how hard the mother tries.

ANSWER: No problem in breastfeeding for 2 and a half years (hijri calendar), you should not go beyond that.
