Is working as a taxi driver for a man or a woman in western countries halal or haram? Whether is during the day or night. Whether the driver knows where the passengers are going haram place or not? Or a driver can guess where the passengers are going to haram place by the way the passengers are dressing.

I want to be a cake baker , but being a professional cake baker would involve taking orders for birthdays , anniversaries , mothers day fathers day , valentines day , big fat wedding , so even if i keep all the ingredient halal , but because my means of order would exactly me right will my earning be halal?

ANSWER: Selling cakes in general is permissible. But if you know for certain that it is for a birthday anniversary, Valentine’s Day, New Years or any haram activities, this is not permissible. Wedding cakes are ok.
