The rule is that if a trustworthy narrator narrates what is not related to his innovation, they will accept his hadeeth.

The hadeeth refers to arrogance and not pride. This translation is wrong. One is allowed to be proud of his country that rules by Islam and defends it.

There are evidences that some of the Salaf used to do it and our scholar say that it is permissible as it is using the Quran for treatment. And Allah knows best

This was authenticated by Shiekh Al Albani but then he changed his verdict and made it weak.

This is a very weak hadeeth. The justification in the hadeeth is that Allah when he created the creation, lied down and crossed one leg over the other. That is why the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam forbade us from doing so.
