The most authentic opinion of scholars is that the hair between the eyebrows is permissible to remove

It is not permissible to trim, shave, pluck or cut the eyebrows. The only exception is when one single hair or more is going into the eye and harming the individual.

This is something that Allah kept the knowledge of it from us. We know it is a sin and that Allah will punish people over it but we don’t know what this punishment would be.
