Assalam’ alakum. Is it permissible to accept the invitation of our maid (who is abuddist) to attend their New Year tea party. They have been working forus for 50 years now. have arranged this particularly for us and will feel as if we don’t care about our maids if we don’t attend.

Aslaamalaikum, are fizzy drinks haraam? As we get told by doctors that it damages the inside of the body by drinking fizzy drinks, similar to cigarettes.

Assalam o aliakum! A woman has to leave for ummrah and just before leaving she notices that she has entered the impure state. She has not done neeyat yet. Rest of her team has to leave for ummra and she can’t be left alone in madina.(she lives in hafar al batin).the day she has to take ghusal will be the day of the departure from makkah.she can’t stay in state of Ehraam for seven days.CAN SHE GO TO MAKKAH WITHOUT THE NEEYAT OF UMMRAH AND WITHOUT EHRAAM?Jazak Allah!

Wa alaikum salaam The answer is yes to both questions. However, if she enters the state of Ihram she should make a condition is that if she were to leave before being pure that she would dissolve her ihram without any expiation.

Salaam sheikh, I have a problem basically, I have to hide and docertain things like monday/thursday fasts, tahajjud etc from my dadsometimes because he wont understand and is very cultural and lacksislamic knowledge and he wont agree to me fasting voluntarily and willsay its only sunnah, he also wants me to eat with him so do i break myfast (nafl) to obey dads wishes or do I ignore dad and continue to fast with the intention to please Allah and imitate the Prophet s.a.w actions? JazakAllah khair.

Wa alaikum salaam, if your father has a valid reason, you must listen to him and not fast the voluntary fasting. But if he doesn’t have a valid reason and your fasting doesn’t affect obeying him and serving him, don’t break your fast.

Asslam’ alaykum. Is it permissible to delay asr salah to where there’s about an hourleft until the start of maghrib? I ask this because I have severe eczemaon my face and body and I need to leave the medicine on for some hours during the day and currently only have time to put it straight after zuhr salah.

A doctor deliberately gave my mother injection saying its a nutrient rich injection and he knew that the injection was harmful. My mother got kidney stones because of that. If my mother dies because of this pain will she be a shaheed? Because its like the doctor poisoned mymother. Will the doctor be punished for this?
