Suppose If my brother has some DEBT and he died before pay it and he suggested me to pay his debt. And the amount is big so it may take some time to return may be one year or more. Now in this in between period he will be punished in the grave until we pay it? Please explain.

It is not your responsibility to pay off his DEBTS. If you do that willingly, you will be rewarded. As for his punishment, if he had the intention not to return it or he had the means to give it back but didn’t, he will be punished.

I live in India where majority of people are hindu. In day to day life, we have to interact with them for many reasons. If my intention is good to spread brotherhood and live together happily what if I take part in their festivals and they in mine?

This is not permissible. You can invite them to your house for the purpose of dawah but you are not allowed to go to their festival and you must not have best friends from non muslims.
