I will be making the intention to do aqeeqah by slaughtering animals soon. I want to take my 9 year old step son to witness it but my wife finds it could scare him where as I find it will build him. Is there anything in Islam forbidding children from participating or watching this ritual? In Canada kids don’t get to see this and have no clue on the food chain.

I have asked you about my repitative nightmares(jinn possessing). you told me to observe azkar and voluntary prayer . i am doing all that .last month i hardly hav few bad dreams . but last week as i started to hifz Quran constantly 3 night i had nightmares. i saw my close relative aur teacher not helping me or in form of jinn.but last night i saw some non human thng and i shouted that loud that whole family woke up and could not slept for night. my family saying me to check some psychatrist. i dont want to go because mostly psychatrist there are so liberal and have non islamic views. what should i do? is that realy psychological problem?? or should i patiently wait few nights that things might settle down?
