It has to be 10 different people.

Can i pray behind an imam who is notorious for so many kinds of sins like adultery, theft, child sexual abuse and so on. Little detail about him. Once local council safe was stolen . And their were three suspect. Among them one person agreed their sin and told it was done by the three of them together. Including the notorious man( imaam). By the imaam refused, so he did not recieve any punishment from local court. Another case. Once an unmarried women gave birth to son. Due to tht act authority questioned her. She told the father of that son she gave birth was the notorious man. . But the man refused when authority questioned him. Another case: The notorious man is a little bit famous for black magic. Once a local went to him( notorious man) to do something to protect his house. So , the notorious man made something from wood and wrote something in it. And told to lacal man to hang this in his house so tht any affliction will not come. Sometimes Our masjid imaam preferred him (notorious man) to lead in congregation because he is very good quran reciter. If this notorious man is in the front row, our masjid imaam will call him and handover him to lead the prayer. Here is my question: what should i do if the imaam preferred the notorious man to lead prayer? Can i pray in congregation while intending to myself tht im praying alone?

As long as he is a Muslim, you must pray behind him! These are all allegations that were not proven and it is a sin to talk about them without witnessing them or proving them as Allah will question all those who spread such allegations on the Day of Judgement.

If a Muslim does not believe in praying 5 times a day is he considered to be a kafir?

I have a Christian friend. I gave him Dawat of Islam, because he lives in Muslim society. He has some basic knowledge of Islam. I have 3 questions:1) i was born in mauritius but i now live in the UK as im married there and work there. I do travel to Mauritius every year for about six weeks. 1- If you have migrated forever from your hometown and only go there for vacation, you pray there as a traveller. 2- It is prohibited to change your name to other than your father and family name!

One of my neighbour has reverted to islam since 7yrs.she was a buddist and she came into islam bcos she loved a muslim n wanted to marry him.she is practicing islam now along with her husband in India but her parents think dat she is still a buddist.so when she goes to her country, she pretends as if she is buddist n listens to her parents bcos they will feel bad.now she is confused about wat is right and how to behave with her parents n how to inform them dat she is a muslim .and may be if she informs her relationship with them may break.how and wat shud she do?

She has no right in hiding her Islam! She is sinful and responsible for not calling her parents to Islam before they die! She must tell them and call them to this beautiful religion.

I want to ask you about something very important which is, my brother is almost 21 years old and he mostly does not pray and we have tried with him with everything but no reaction. We don’t know what to do! And I want to know will Allah punish mom because her son does not pray?

It is your father’s duty to force him to pray. If he insists on not praying, he may kick him out of the house and disown him! He is an adult and is accountable for his actions and it is up to him to pray or not!
