However, my wifes parents are about to buy a new house and have asked my wife for her savings (as a loan). I told her not to. As we need it. Does she need to listen to me?

ANSWER: Absolutely not! Her money is hers only and she is not obliged to give you a penny of it. It is a man’s job to provide for his wife, NOT the other way around.

QUESTION: I want to play on a male sports team (I am a male too, and my awrah is covered) but some players play with shorts above their knees and sometimes when they are moving their shorts may move up and their thighs can be seen, but this might happen (not 100%) and I may or may not see their thigh at that moment. Is it permissible to play on this sports team where I might play against players like this?
