I recently enrolled on a course to learn Arabic in understanding the quran, and I am English speaking. Academically I am not of a high level, in writing or reading English. Since I have started the course, I am having major problems understanding, learning, and memorizing what I have learnt. I just feel really thick, and illiterate. I am really struggling to find a cure to this problem. Please can you advise me on anything to do from the Sunnah to improve my situation. First of all I know to ask Allah swt in my duas which I am doing. But other than that I am really struggling.

Arabic language is not easy and it is something normal to feel that. Just ask Allah’s help and work harder for longer times and He will make it easy for you.

The hadith that told us that one person who spend the time after fajr in remberence of Allah until sun rises is like a umrah. What dles it mean that doing tashbih? Is memorising quran include?

If after hajj your life remains same means u don’t feel any positive increase in your imaan or thinkngs around you dont change positively, all daily life goes like it was before hajj(going back to sins, doing same mistakes etc.)does it mean ur hajj has not been accepted by allah?please guide.may allah reward u for it.

No, it doesn’t mean that! It means that you must change your lifestyle and your surroundings including friends!

My father wants to pray tahajjud but he may not be able to do it on regular basis. Knowing that Allah loves deeds that are consistent he is worried that if he is unable to do it every night then he might be sinful. What should he do?

He will not be sinful. He may pray as much as he wants. It is loved by Allah to continue it but it is not a sin if he doesn’t.

Sheikh I don’t like light. I like to stay and work in the dark, in my room. My dad says that the devil’s are closer when it’s dark. Is that true. If not then is it okay islamically if I keep working in the dark.
