I am a 2nd wife. I have a 1-year-old daughter. My husband’s parents don’t want to keep any relation with me or my daughter. They never visit us nor allow us to visit them because I am the 2nd wife. When I tell my husband that his parents are guilty of severing ties of kinship, he always says that they have not cut off the relationship so they are not sinful. Are they guilty or not? Patience is required. Don’t worry as this would end one day and they will be happy to see you and your kids in sha Allah. They are sinful for not seeing their grandchild. This is a reaction that many have. May Allah guide them.
