Asalamo alaikum. I have had health issues relating to my blood. I am constantly losing blood and my hemoglobin count is very low. Due to this, I become very weak. I try my best to fast but after a couple days, I fall ill. Am i excused from fasting or do I still have to try and continue? If i am excused on account of me being sick, what do i do to make up for it? Do i feed a poor person?

This morning I got up for suhoor,I was in the bathroom before fajr time when I was rinsing my mouth,I was trying to swallow something left over as I wasn’t clear if it was possible to take out.so I thought that action ruined my intention and I said whatever I’ll just renew my intention when I got out fajr had entered so for sure all this happened after athan by couple minutes. Is fast valid

Assalamu alaikum, Your fast is valid as the intention was made correctly before athan and y didn’t nullify it.

I am on medication I have to take every 12hrs, the doctor says its a lifetime medication. I cant fast ramadan because the hours of fasting are 17. Can I make ramadan up durning the winter hrs when the days are short enough?

Assalamu alaikum, If the medication is truly this needed to be taken in such interval, this is permissible. However, I very much doubt that you can’t take it at sunset and before the break of dawn only in Ramadan. Check with another doctor.

Assalamualakium. Reading the Quran and then seeing the translations makes me feel closer to Allah Azowajal. I do not comprehend & therefore cannot implement what is being said in Quran. I am taking Arabic classes and recognize words which makes me feel happy, but i’ve been advised to not read it & to listen to it instead. What should I do? I am a laymen.
