I stopped going to the mosque as I noticed when I attend regularly I feel a deviation in my heart and I feel lost in my Deen. The mosque is one where mawlid, urs, etc. is celebrated. It happens when I’m out of town for 2-3 days. Then my heart gets settled again and I know again what is good and what is not. Please advise me. I read your article on tricks of Shaitan but I still feel something in my heart.

As long as the Imam is Muslim, you must attend the congregation and leave immediately afterwards without participating with them in any of their innovations.

What should I do if I joined Final Atahiyaat of 1st Jamat, then I overhear the Iqama for the 2nd Jamat? 1) Should I complete/continue the 1st Jamat balance salah alone? 2) Should I leave this and go & join the 2nd Jamat?

When a congregation is going on with the Imam, there is only one follower to his right side, and then two people enter to join the congregation, what should the two people do; pull the follower back or both of them go and stand to the right side of the Imam?

My question is regarding the saying -“Love of nation is a sign of faith ” which is often attributed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).Could you please clarify it for me whether it’s a sahih hadith or is it a fabricated hadith.

This is not authentic.

If a muslim laughs about another language (for example a Swedish person laughing because he says he can’t understand a word of Danish), how someone looks (for example the size of the body, the nose, the clothes) – does this make him a non-Muslim?

This is a sin but it would not invalidate his islam.

Shaykh is it kufr to participate in a video or a presentation in which someone commits kufr, if you disapprove in heart and say something against it after? Many watch films etc with kufr in (even if they don’t watch kufr bits) but approve if non kufr bits but are these other bits kufr because the actor is participating in a film with kufr?

This is not kufr as long as he is denying with his heart but this major sin will eventually lead him to kufr as he is watching it and probably happy and enjoying it.

Do we know who was crucified instead of Prophet Isa pbuh (Jesus)? Do we have any islamic references/ sources who this person was? Was he one of the jews (the accusers)?

Asim means ‘preventer’ and there was a companion of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam with this name!

I am trying to find the sahih statement stating that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa salam says regarding tribalism “Leave it, it is rotten”. i read everywhere on the internet the same “reference 8/137” for this hadith but that doesnt even exist. even in the arabic Sahih Bukhari, there is no nummer 8/137. how can i find this hadith printed black on white in any of the sunnan books?
