my question is what should one read for severe anxiety, overwhelming sadness.. As i used to read something from Allah’names and aayats.. my mind gets distracted but aftr sometime i go back in that condition.. tell me something which give peace to my heart.. I offer prayer regularly but this condition comes for my over thinking about something..

Performing a separate sujood for Duaa is an innovation and it is prohibited. You can make your Duaa during the prayer itself.

sheikh, when doing sajda thilawa,is it compulsory to prostrate in the ground? Because i’m in my late stage of pregnancy its very difficult to prostrate in the ground..so can i keep my forhead wherever i sit and recite..for example if i sit in my bed and recite is it permissible to prostrate on the bed?

is it not allowed to recite the Qur’an from mobile or tablet during menses? What about reading Surah Kahf on Friday during menses from mobile? And, is it ok to recite for studying as in Ramadan I plan on setting a goal to memorize some Surahs and Is listening to recitation allowed (during menses)?

Last month my cousin came for Umrah from America via Qatar airways.He didn’t find any ihram clothing in america so he thought he would buy from Doha airport when he lands in Qatar.but he didn’t find any ihram clothing on doha airport too.so he made the niyyah in the flight from doha to jeddah and wore the ihram clothing when he landed in jeddah and came to my house.what is his penalty

Hypothetically saying this doesn’t relate to me in any way, but lets say you are interested in a non-muslim girl and you guys are dating for a while and you guys get married and the girl converts. Would that still be counted as a sin to have had a relationship with her? If it is then what is a halal way to do this?

Of course! Dating and sexual relationships before marriage is a sin! Marrying someone like this without repenting is void. If a person wants to rectify this, they both must repent and express remorse and they must renew the marriage if he married her while still dating.

Respected Sheikh Assim Al Hakem, Alhamdulillah every Friday I come to listen your Friday sermon, yesterday’s sermon was heart touching to me regarding RIBA’A, being a citizen of India we receive interest on our deposits every quarterly where I transfer this amount to my sister to give it to a needy.
