Dear Sheikh, I go for taraveeh to the masjid with my toddler but i am unable to stand in the saf (line) with the rest of the people. I stand alone in a corner and pray with the imam as i have to keep an eye on my baby otherwise she will run outside or get hurt. is this allowed?

Are we still obligated to give family their due rights for example maintain ties of kinship etc..if they practice black magic? Also if they intend to harm us.

Is it true , when women r pregnant Allah listen all of their dua. Whatever they r asking for . As I’m pregnant everyone is asking dua from me . They r saying all of my dua will comes true.

as I am getting older i need to learn how to pay zakat. I know how it works for gold/silver but what about money in bank? How does that work? On the day it’s due, do I have to calculate all my savings, or do I have to calculate how much I will earn that year and leave aside what I owe for the due date of zakat? I’m really confused about this matter

You give Zakat on whatever gold and silver, and money you have in your bank account at the end of a lunar year. Money is treated like silver in regards to the threshold which is the value of 595 grams.

If it is permissible for a woman to hold the mushaf during nafil prayers then she will have to pick it up and put it down after every surah fatiha. Is this also permissable while performing taraweeh prayers ??

No problem as long as she is praying on her own.

During our childhood, my mother would tell a deceased’s family that “I will give you 40 Yaseen or 10 chapters of quran on behalf of my daughter/son (as in me)” for khatam. Later, she would force us to read them. But, when she would forget to remind us, we would skip them. As I was sitting today (15 years after that), I realized that I may have 4 – 5 Quran and more than 500 Yaseen to read.Need help

Sheikh.Both, my mother and mother in law are not able to fast.Can I give kaffara on behalf of both of them..It would be from my husband’s money that the kaffara would be given..If its permissible is it necessary to inform them about it..
