sheikh my father is involved in in riba since very long , we brothers have tried our level best to explain him. He says he is not using te money in food but in unnecessary things like electric bills and and other housebhold bills… what should we do how to make him stop this .. what is the ruling for it and is it ok to spend this money like this .

ANSWER: It is totally prohibited to take riba, in fact it’s a major sin. However the money he’s spending on his family is halal for them and the sin is totally on the father alone.

Sheikh i and my sister stdy together with a male teacher but nowadays my pprs are going to be started so i am not studying with her, she is stdyng but my small sstr MashaAllah sits in a room beside my sstr so that she can watch my big sstr. ANSWER: She must not study with a male teacher and her sister being there doesn’t change the ruling. She is sinful and you are sinful as well for allowing this to continue if you can stop it.

What’s the ruling on a person sitting infront of a praying person facing the praying person beyond his place of sujood?

ANSWER: No problem. Its highly recommended to place a sutra while praying.

In one of your videos you said its not sinful if someone passes by a person offering namaz however i read a hadith saying “If a person passing by another person offering salat knew the magnitude of the sin he would prefer to wait for 40(days,months years) rather then to pass in front of him” (Bukhari,volume 1 book 9 hadith 489) Is this authentic

ANSWER: This passing is passing between his standing position and his sujood position. I was saying that one must go beyond that or beyond the sutra, if he keeps it in front of him.

In our country on 14 / 15 shaban muslims celebrate it as shab e baraat. And worship whole night till morning to attain the forgiveness of Allah. Is it correct?

There is a hadith regarding the funeral procession of a jew was passing by. The prophet salallahu alayhi was sallam stood up in respect. Is this hadith still applicable today? I heard that this ruling got abrogated and no more applies.

I am from Srilanka and i am working in a marketing company. Everyday i used go in field work. In every area we don’t have mosque to pray. If i got a mosque to pray luhar i don’t get a mosque to pray asr. On this situation can i pray luhar and asr prayers at once Under rulings of jam’u & kas’r.

ANSWER: This is not a legitimate reason to combine prayers as you are not a traveler. If you cannot find a masjid at the time of Asr, you must stop where ever you are to offer Asr on time.

When I leave the house my mother reads Ayat ul Kursi and blows it on me for protection. Is this part of the Sunnah or is there some other dua in the Sunnah that would be correct ?
