ANSWER: You must not take non believers as friends, you can treat her in a good way, be kind and polite and give her dawah, but to be a friend and to love her is not Islamic, as each person will be with those whom he loves in the hereafter.

The turmoil in the muslim countries in the world like Palestine,Iraq,Syria,Afghanistan,Burma and Kashmir.These countries are facing problems from every kind.So my question is ,is it a punishment from Allah or is a test for them from Allah.

Sheikh in one of ur lectures u talked about the qualities of men to marry, and u said “Jealousy” is one of the things to look at. What kind of jealousy and hw can i as a man implement it for myself?

ANSWER: It means that you don’t accept your wife or daughters to be exposed in front of men without the full hijab or to get mixed with the opposite gender .

Is it permissible to keep the photo or the possessions like their used things like their watch, spectacles in the remembrance of the deceased person? Is it shirk?

ANSWER: You can keep their things but to keep their personal photos, this is not permissible.

Is it correct to make dua between the break in Friday Khutbah i.e when the Imam sits down briefly between the Khutbah

ANSWER: There isn’t anything prescribed to say during this time. One can make Duaa and can ask for forgiveness as well.

I would like to know are they any authentic rituals to be done in Sunnah before starting to build a new house?

ANSWER: There are no rituals to be done before building a new house.

Sheikh, my grandma died almost 2 months ago, so we wait till tuesday for 6 weeks for dua after the body has dissolved, and there will be food and gathering, is this bidah? If I don’t go my mom will be extremly mad at me and will probably not talk to me. So is this bidah?

ANSWER: Will it say on their passports that they are khawarij?

My parents are looking for a suitable spouse for me; And in the process, they’re asking me to shorten my beard and to grow it back after marriage. They want me to appear as if I’m a moderate Muslim (i.e. watch movies and partake in free mixing) so that my would-be spouse likes me. But I hate to do this as it’s sinful. Please advise how I can convince them.

ANSWER: You must not listen to your parents in this regard whatsoever! If you pretend these things then you will end up with a woman who is like that and a non practicing Muslim and you would regret it for the rest of your marriage.
