Sir what is the exact meaning of afiyah? I am afflicted with sihr i listen to sh.Luhaidan’s ruqyah audio. In that he makes dua for afflicted patients he asks Allah for Afiyah. What is the exact meaning? I wanted an answer from a scholar. And the dua Allahumma inni as alukal afiyah. What is the meaning?

ANSWER: It is not recommended to pray in such a state but the prayer is valid.

As per the subject, kindly advice if it is a bad deed to live separately from parents after marriage. Even though my father is earning, so many things are going around at home. There is no peace in my mind. Wife wants a different house. She tried to adjust but I believe I will lose her and my child if I continue to stay with my parents. Please advice.

ANSWER: It is not a bad deed to live separately after marriage. It is your wife’s right to have a separate accommodation after marriage and you can only give her the due rights.
