I have committed sin and makes a lot of dua to Allah and ask for forgiveness. Now I never repeated such sin again after repentance and I believe Allah forgave me. Is it ok for a Muslim to have such a strong confidence in believing Allah that he has forgiven me?

ANSWER: This is not advisable as though one is confident of Allah’s forgiveness, one is not sure whether Allah will accept it or not. This is why one must be hopeful and fearful at the same time.
