ANSWER: If you are an ignorant layman who knows nothing else, your prayer is valid. But if you know the right way and the way of the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and still decide to go against it, this usually can only happen to full fledged hypocrites!!

ANSWER: This is not permissible as you have no right to throw away what is his, besides, he would just get more! You must advise him with good manners, wisdom, knowledge and diplomacy to stop.

QUESTION: My gold doesn’t exceed the threshold amount of zakat. If I mix them with cash then the amount exceeds the zakat threshold of silver. Can I give zakat based on this calculation? or should I calculate based on only cash?

ANSWER: If you have cash that would mount to the thresh hold of gold when added to the gold you have, you should give zakat. But if it doesn’t reach the threshold of gold but the cash is above the threshold of silver, you must give zakat only on the cash and not the gold.
