ANSWER: It is not permissible to imitate the disbelievers. You can wear what the locals wear providing you do not compromise in your religion. In other words, it is not permissible to shave your beard or do things specific to disbelievers in order to fit in. Move to a Muslim country so that you can practice Islam freely.

If visitors(non-mahram) come over our house, should we wear socks as leg is part of aurat?

ANSWER: Yes, a woman must be fully covered in front of non mahrams, taking in consideration that free mixing is totally prohibited.

There will be twice the azan and the imam will read dua twice during his khutbah on Friday prayer in Malaysia. Do the makmum follow the imam to raised hands? Because I’ve read a hadith about a sahabah who condemned another for raising his hands. Thank you.

ANSWER: One must not raise his hands during the dua of Friday khutbah, they should just say Aameen silently.

I have a friend who is friends with a girl who converted to Islam he wants to stop talking to her because he knows its Haram but he is Afraid she might think ill of muslims or something, is it his responsibility if he stops talking to her and she thinks ill of Islam and muslims or Is he allowed to stop talking with her? ANSWER: He must immediately stop all communication with her as it is not permissible in islam to have friendship between opposite genders. He is not responsible if she thinks ill of Islam or even as if she commits suicide! This is not his problem. His problem is to save himself from Allah’s wrath!

ANSWER: This can only be done by her father or husband or her guardian. She must be ordered to wear it and to cover herself properly.

I am a mother of 4 months old. Most of the time i miss my obligatory prayers due to my son’s crying. He hardly stays quiet on bed. If i leave him crying on the top of his voice & pray, that too is not worth as my whole attention will be towards my crying son. Sheikh mostly in india Pakistan we heard that when someone is eating we should not greet salam if someone greet we should not give answers of salam while eating so as when azan is calling on that time also we should not greet salam not to answer also. Is it true or not?

ANSWER: Both of these are absolutely baseless. It’s fard on a person to reply back to a salam unless he’s in the toilet.
