ANSWER: Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam used to apply Henna on his hair and beard. However there’s no problem in applying henna on the feet for women, but not for men.

ANSWER: This is effective and it is permissible to do all kinds of dhikr during menstruation.

My question is when attending an interview if the HR Manager of that company is female and I need to shake hands with her .. so it is permissible for me to shake hands in that situation. Because if I refuse to shake hands she might reject me from giving a Job.

ANSWER: This is not permissible. From the entrance of the room, stand back and nod while putting your hands on your chest. She will understand. Even if she doesn’t, simply tell her that you are not allowed to shake hands in Islam with the opposite gender.

If a person owns ATM cash machine and it is located in either night club or in marijuana facility. Is his income halal? Although he just owns the machine, people withdraw their own money and spend it in their way. Please advise.

ANSWER: Such a machine is not usually owned except by the bank operating it. It is prohibited to help such interest based banks to facilitate their evil by providing them with such machines and by renting spots in your properties.

In my country when someone dies after 40days people come together that to make dua for him and even after every year still they congregate that they are making dua for the dead where they even cook for those who come. Is this permissible in our Islam,?
