It is a common belief that both Surahs Al Naas and Al Falaq were revealed to unlock the black magic inflicted on Rasool Allah SAW. The infliction happened in Madinah while both the Surahs were revealed in Makkah well before the black magic infliction on Rasool Allah SAW. I was wondering if there’s a way of clarifying this.

ANSWER: They were revealed in Makkah but the two angels made ruqya for the Prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam with it.

Sheikh at which age should kids be segregated in their bed? 7 or 10? Because on islamqa they say 10 but on your site you said 7 and also there are ahadeeth who say different. I always thought it was 7.

ANSWER: It is an issue of dispute. I am inclined to follow the opinion of those saying that it is 7 years. It is alway best to be safe than sorry especially in today’s times and Media.

ANSWER: Of course not unless she is still changing his diapers till date! He should consult a doctor or tell his father about it.

If a person drinks alcohol,his prayer is not accepted for 40 days.That means his prayer is valid but not rewarded.Does that 40 days start from his day of drinking or does it start from when he starts to pray.Ex:If I’m drinking today,and I start to pray 5 days later,then will my period of 40 days start from the 5th day or from my 1st day of drinking itself.At which day my prayer will be rewarded?

ANSWER: Who cares? Your prayer of 40 days won’t be accepted! Instead of asking when it would start, repent, express remorse and ask Allah for forgiveness.

ANSWER: If you’re an Indian then of course it is permissible to live there as not all Indian Muslims or all the Muslims living in non muslim countries can migrate to Muslim countries as this is not possible at all.
