My friend needs money to purchase goods that he will sell to another company.He is requesting me and others to give him money as an investor. From his profit,he will take specific percentage (as the project was his hardwork) & remaining percentage he will give to investors based on amount invested. If he doesn’t get profit, we will not get any profit. Is this transaction Halal?

ANSWER: This is permissible providing that those investing money know that if the investment has total loss in money, they will lose their money and can’t ask him to return it.

The diluted liquid which comes out at the initial sexual excitement…if that falls on my clothing and I can’t locate it specifically will I have to clean the entire cloth or it’s not impure?

ANSWER: If you are certain that it fell on your clothes and you can’t figure out where, you must wash the whole thing.

It is very common trend in India/Pak etc that children dont pray from 7 yrs of age & even until 21 -22 yrs of age. Parents take it very casually, they dont instruct, they are not strict etc. Q is: Are parents and children both sinful and will be punished by Allaah?

ANSWER: This is the norm for any daughter who is divorced or widowed. However, you are not obliged to move back in with them if you fear that your children will cause trouble to them and you are financially independent enough to live in another house providing it is safe.

There is a company if you invest 500$. every month you will get 100$ for a year and they don’t deal with Alcohol or gambling or any haram business because is a islamic company so is this Riba ?

ANSWER: Yes, this is riba and one of the major sins in Islam because this profit is fixed. For any investment to be halal, it must be a halal business and you must share both profit and loss and the profit must not be fixed (Percentage can be fixed but not the actual amount)

It’s Known that shirk invalidates good deeds. But if a Muslim repented from it will his previous good deeds get restored.

ANSWER: Yes, in sha Allah as Allah forgives all sins if a person repents sincerely, with deep remorse.

My therapist has asked me to wear colorful hijabs and abayas as she says that it is proved from studies that colorful clothes will help uplift mood and make one feel happy and joyful and she says that it will help me. But wont that make me look attractive and that defies the purpose of covering myself. So im not sure what i should do?

ANSWER: You must not listen to her as this indeed defies the purpose of hijab. You can wear all the colorful and attractive clothes in front of your mahrams and in front of other women. You should change your therapist and choose a practicing Muslimah.
