Is it from the Sunnah to say “Waa Anaa” when the mu’addhin says, “Ashadualla ilaha illallah wa Ashhadu anna muhammad rasulullah”? Please can you confirm if its authentic or not. Thank you.–

ANSWER: The Sunnah is to repeat whatever the mu’addhin says. This is what the majority of hadeeths stated. There are some narrations of the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam saying wa ana ash’had but scholars say that this was only for him.

I understand that we should not recite Quran when on periods but what about reciting for example Surah Mulk every night and Surah Kahf every friday which we recite regularly. Should we leave this too? and please guide about the zikr we do every morning and evening it too has some Quranic Surahs and ayah al kuri which is actually from the Quran. Are we allowed to read these?

ANSWER: You MUST NOT leave any of these worship while in menstruation. The only prohibition is in praying salah and fasting and touching the Qur’an with bare hands during menstruation, other than that you must do all kinds of Dhikr and recite the Quran as well.

I pray in masjid which follows Imam Abu Hanifa so they told me not to recite Surah Fathia behind imam but in internet some say you have to recite and some say no so what to do??

ANSWER: You must recite the fateha in your silent prayers and rakahs without which your Salah is invalid. And how would people know if you recited it or not?

ANSWER: You can do morning adkar as soon as the time for fajr has entered, even if you have not prayed fajr yet. You must not delay fajr beyond its fixed time otherwise its a major sin and you cannot make it up after sunrise.

I am a Musafir in a town. Participated Dhuhr fardh jamat in the last rakat. After Imam finishes salat, how many rakat I have to finish, will it be one more or three more rakat?

ANSWER: You must pray 3 more rakahs after getting up because when praying behind a resident imam, you must follow him and pray in full.

I know there was a sahih Hadith of Hudhaifa saying the prophet urinate standing When I said this my parents got angry saying im lying on the prophet and they are rejecting this Hadith because of heavy influence by Somali Sufi sheikhs but they are not Sufi. Any advice on how to deal with them ?

Will a person be forgiven if he did shirk/kuffar 3 times or more. I am praying salah and trying my best to do everything that will please allah but this worry that Allah will not forgive me because of shirk/kuffar is eating me up inside.

ANSWER: The number has no impact on forgiveness. If you die in the state of kufr or shirk, you will be in hell for eternity. If you repent, show remorse and never go back, Allah will forgive you.
