He must try to humble himself and remind himself that people don’t know his sins and shortcomings. 

A mother loves her son a lot and loves to praise him and make dua. He doesn’t mind the dua but dislikes the excessive praise as he feels some sort of arrogance building up inside him. He asked to her maybe limit it but she wants to continue so he just accepted. What must be do?
