In a lot of non muslim coubtries, muslims are being forced to cremate the deceased who die due to Covid-19. Is this permissible?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. Muslims must fight with all means possible against this! Washing the dead is not contagious as long as they wear protective gear. After shrouding the deceased, there is no fear from any virus as he doesn’t breath while dead!

My question is that some of my elders were saying that it is not good to place the almirah in a room facing south-west direction or something like that she was saying it stops in development of the family. Is this authentic? Is there anything such In Islam? I’m confused please guide me

ANSWER: There is no requirement for being in wudhu. As for make up, if she is going to be seen by non mahram, this is totally prohibited. But if it is between her and her mahram and other women, there is nothing wrong in wearing it before or after the marriage contract.

Sheikh if someone has a wet dream before they wake up for fajr and they wake up and there’s less time for sehri yani 2 minutes and then I go to do ghusl and by then fajr has happend would my fast be counted or not is this for Ramadan and for voluntary fasts also of I wake up past fajr can I fast or not like fajr sunrise at 6 and I wake up after that will my fast count or not

ANSWER: Your ghusul has nothing to do with your fasting! The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam used to go to bed in the state of major ritual impurity and perform ghusul only after fajr athan while he was fasting.

Shiekh if I wake up past fajr can I still fast or is it I have to eat something before fajr and pray then fast counts or will it count even if I don’t wake up

ANSWER: Your missing prayer does not have any impact on the validity of your fasting. Eating suhoor is sunnah and not mandatory, however praying on time is not optional unless you oversleep.

Sheikh, my grandma passed away (may allah have mercy on her) and she died from pneumonia. Is ghusl meant to be done on her? Im not sure if we can because no one doing ghusl due to coronavirus? Can u explain if ghusl is compulsory?

ANSWER: Yes as this is the right of a Muslim. She must be given the normal ghusl, shrouded and prayed upon the funeral prayer like all the other Muslims.

ANSWER: This is one of the traps of Shaytan to get you to talk to her again. You must not have any communication with her as she is non mahram to you. Repenting to Allah sincerely is sufficient.

After each prayer, before tasleem, we are recommended to ask protection from 4 things. My question is regarding “fitnah of mahyaa wal mamaat”. What are the fitnahs of the living and death? What falls in these 2 categories? I wish for some elaboration on this.

ANSWER: Fitnah of mah’ya is all tribulations and temptations one faces in life such as wealth, women, power etc. Fitnah of death is while on his dying bed as some are prevented from saying the kalimah and are distracted by devils.

My waswas has gotten so worse I cannot pray? In prayer my pronunciation does not come out, outside prayer it is not as bad, it takes 30+mins to pray 4rakahs, I keep repeating verses, Tashahhud etc, Im scared it will make me leave Salaah, I love my deen but waswas has made it very difficult for me, this makes me wanna cry, it has ruined me, I have no solution, pls help !

ANSWER: Whenever you get such doubts to repeat it, ask yourself: who is advising you to do these things? Is it an angel who wants good for you or satan who wants to destroy your life?

I was experiencing a lot of hairfall + i wanted to experience shaved head/short hair. Lately I got tired of seeing hair fall everywhere. So i shaved my head and plan on donating the hair for kids with cancer wigs. Am i sinful for shaving my head? I am a muslim woman.

ANSWER: This is not permissible at all! Yes, you are sinful for shaving your head and also sinful for donating towards wig making, which is also not permissible!
