QUESTION: In my culture when someone is married they give the couples a white wrapper to use on their first night to wipe the blood of the virgin, and the wrapper has to be returned to the relatives. I know it’s not islamic to do so. But to protect my wife’s honor, would it be appropriate to prick my finger and put some blood on the wrapper just to protect my wife from harassment.
