Is attending a school that teach kufr, permissible. That school teaches you to question everthing also, is that permissible? Will I become a kaafir if I attend that school? All the public schools teach kufr in canada, and even the full time islamic school.

It is hard to believe that even Islamic schools teach kufr. You might be exaggerating a bit. If conventional schools teach kufr and one is afraid for his Iman, he must not go to these school as and must get home schooling instead.

Is it permissable to study law A-level then degree from home (UK)? I thought it may be impermissible as it is man made law and not shariah .

You must not study such laws by choice unless you are willing to apply them in helping Muslims and not to follow the man made laws! You must have strong Islamic knowledge before studying law.

Please advise a sister who is very depressed because she upsets her mother in periodic and strong arguments. She is experiencing a number of trials which become difficult at times so ends up in these situations unfortunately. She apologised, made taubah,given charity for her mum etc but feels this is not enough, cannot forgive herself and punishes herself.

I live with my parents in UAE and I earn 2200 AED. My dad can’t work heavy work due to illness. So, he does a small job like dropping staff to office and to home, which is not a permanent job. I think ,UAE doesn’t allow like this kind of work because his visa is not of this work. His sponsoring company doesn’t have work for him. We have put visa from them just to make his stay in UAE legal. Is this work halal?

You should’ve made them up by fasting only, as soon as you recovered and not pay fidya. You must fast them now!

Is it permissble for a woman to wear a long skirt that clings to her waist instead of an abayah or a dress that also clings to her waist instead of an abayah/jilbab? (Revealing her waist shape, as there are sisters who wear these beautiful dresses with a headscarf but you can see the tightness of the waist as it clings on and has become a fashion in the UK)
