I need to know if a woman can be married to a man without having any physical relationship or any contact at all. I’ve been married to an impotent man who is also gay and not willing to change or get any sort of help. After 2 years of misery I want to get a divorce. Am I still entitled to my mahar? Is this nikkah even valid?

The nikah is valid and you deserve the mahar and you can demand separation from the Judge based on his medical condition and his impotency which can be easily diagnosed by a medical report.

Is it permissible for women to be outside after maghrib? I work in a Muslim school, and usually get home before it gets dark. However, during the winter it is impossible for me to be able to get home before it gets dark. Is this permissible?

This is permissible as long as it is safe.

At present, my problem is that I have involuntary passage of some amount of stool, say two or three times a day (incontinence). Due to this problem I haven’t visited makkah since a long time. Apart from this, I have heard that it is mandatory to perform tawaf for all who enter haram. My questions are: 1) Is it true that tawaf is waajib for a muslim who enters haram ? 2) In my case, is it okay if I don’t enter the mosque, just sit outside in the ground, perform volantary prayers and make dua?

I moved in to a new home and the oven is full of grease stains. I can remove them but this will take a lot of scrubbing. So I was wondering is it usable if I wipe over it with a grease remover even if the stains remain. Does burning such fats change them so I can cook my food in the oven?

You can use the oven however try to scrub as much as you can.

It is absolutely haram to close the eyes when praying. At times when standing I tend to close my eyes due to persistent headaches because it helps me to concentrate on what I am reciting. Is this ok?

It is not permissible to close your eyes during salah unless it is something distracting you on a particular Salah and not as a usual habit.

Is it valid to rub the headscarf instead of the hair when performing wudhu if one had already performed wudhu before wearing the headscarf (as in the case of socks)?

What is the ruling for Fasting on the Day of Arfaat, is it according to Saudi Arabia throughout the world or they have to fast according to their dates. As when we have 9th Dhul Hajj in Saudi Arabia, but in India it is 8th dhul Hajj so when will they have to Fast?
