Don’t you think that the muslims of 21st century, have forgotten about jihad and they are not being bothered about our ummah. Do you think that the contemporary scholars of the salaf is ignoring this fact. Did the scholars get wrong anywhere. Please give a suggestion on this regard in the light of quran and sunnah.

When I was a teenager (adult), I went for Hajj with my parents. My father did not take me, my sister or my mother for stoning though we were fit and fine. Now I have crossed 40 Alhamdulillaah and going for Hajj again, thumb Alhamdulillaah. I want to know whether I have to offer sacrifice for not stoning in my previous Hajj on behalf of all of us?

Yes, you should offer sacrifice in Makkah and distributed to the poor in Al Haram area.

I have a question regarding eid party. Some one I know is planning on doing an eid party but not on the day of eid, as some family members won’t be able to attend the party as its during the week in shaa Allah, so they are planning on doing it on the weekend. Also they are planning to do a theme eid party. Is that permissible?

Eid Al Fitr is one day and Eid Al Ad’ha is four days! Therefore, they can make their celebrations in these days!

My mum has some mild psychiatric condition that makes it difficult for her to focus in her salat. She would sometimes talk to herself or forget the correct sequence. Now she has aged and she has to pray sitting on a chair. I’ve tried leading the prayer and asked her to follow but it didn’t help. After I finish my salat can I repeat salat sitting down to lead her?

This is permissible, and would be counted as voluntary prayer.

It is only recently that I have found out that it is very important to study Aqeedah. So can you please suggest some books, audio / video lectures, websites from where I can learn Aqeedah. I prefer it to be in english because that is the only language I understand properly.

Study Kitabul Taw-heed and Al Aqeedah Al Wasitiya for now.

I know you cannot fast until you are certain your period has finished. I wait 2 days after the last time I see blood to know it is completely over and not just a pause. But I feel bad because I feel like I am wasting 2 days of not fasting it feels wrong. But if I don’t wait, then I am in doubt and not 100% certain and then my fasts won’t count in doubt. Is it okay so I am certain? —

If one is an oppressor and his victim curses him or makes Duaa against him, Allah will respond to that if Allah wills it! However, the following generations may not be affected by that.

As a present I got a statue with the name Allah in arabic and another with mohamed in arabic. I have problems with putting them somewhere, because of not making the same level. Can I sell it?
