Sir, I am confused if a muslim man can marry at the most of four wives at a time or he can marry four wives throughout his life? I searched alot at the internet but I am unable to find any clear answer. As we see, Prophet Muhammad SAW had 12 wives, King Abdulaziz of KSA had 22 wives, what is thier justication? A man can’t be married to more than 4 at any given time! He may divorce and marry again or marry after one of his wives dies.

I am 23 and recently got a job and am living with my uncles family in the US. My father lives in Saudi. For the eid that’s coming up, will my uncles sacrifice of goat suffice for me because I live with him? Will my dads suffice back in Saudi? Or do I have to do it separately for myself?
